The Mercedes-Benz W211 came into our workshop with its factory D1S Xenon low beams, H7 halogen high beams and H11 halogen fog lights. We replaced all three with NaoEvo LED lighting to improve the vehicle's night-time lighting setup.
For this W211, we installed NaoEvo D1Pro LEDs for the low beams, NaoEvo 9005 Warm White LEDs for the high beams and NaoEvo H11 Tri-Color LEDs for the fog lights.
Low Beam: D1S Xenon to NaoEvo D1Pro
The factory low beams used D1S Xenon bulbs. We replaced them with NaoEvo D1Pro LED bulbs.
After installation, we checked the headlights and their beam pattern to make sure the new bulbs were working correctly and the light was properly projected onto the road.
On this W211, the upgraded low beam reaches over 150 metres.
High Beam: H7 to NaoEvo 9005 Warm White
The factory high beams used H7 halogen bulbs. We replaced them with NaoEvo 9005 Warm White LED bulbs.
The upgraded high beam reaches more than 300 metres on this vehicle. We also checked the beam after installation to make sure the high beams were operating correctly.
Fog Lights: H11 to NaoEvo Tri-Color
For the fog lights, we replaced the original H11 halogen bulbs with NaoEvo H11 Tri-Color LED bulbs.
The Tri-Color bulbs allow the driver to switch between different light colours depending on the conditions. This gives the W211 three lighting options for the fog lights rather than a single fixed colour.
Final Lighting Setup
The completed W211 lighting setup is:
- Low beam: NaoEvo D1Pro LED — (over 150 metres)
- High beam: NaoEvo 9005 Warm White LED (over 300 metres)
- Fog lights: NaoEvo H11 Tri-Color LED
- Warranty: 2 years
We checked the installation and operation of the upgraded lights before completing the vehicle.
If you are upgrading the lighting on a Mercedes-Benz W211, we can help identify the correct bulbs for the vehicle and recommend the appropriate setup.
