This Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 came in with its factory H11 halogen low beams and 9005 halogen high beams. We replaced both with NaoEvo LED bulbs to improve the vehicle’s lighting for night driving.
The new setup uses NaoEvo H11 180W LED bulbs for the low beams and NaoEvo 9005 180W LED bulbs for the high beams.
Original Headlights and New LED Setup
The LC200’s original setup used halogen bulbs for both low and high beams. We replaced them with the following:
- Low beam: Factory H11 halogen replaced with NaoEvo H11 180W LED.
- High beam: Factory 9005 halogen replaced with NaoEvo 9005 180W LED.
The two bulb types serve different functions. The low beams light the road ahead during normal night driving, while the high beams provide additional reach when road conditions allow their use.
How Far Do the Upgraded Headlights Reach?
After the upgrade, the low beams reach over 150 metres, while the high beams reach over 300 metres under suitable conditions.
The low beams provide forward lighting for regular night driving. When the road is clear and there is no oncoming traffic, the high beams extend the illuminated area further ahead.
Actual visibility depends on road conditions, weather, headlight adjustment and the surrounding environment. Drivers should dip their high beams when approaching other road users.
Installation and Beam Alignment
We replaced the original halogen bulbs with the corresponding NaoEvo LED bulbs and checked the headlights after installation. Beam alignment is important because even bright bulbs need to direct light onto the road correctly.
A properly adjusted beam helps put the light where the driver needs it while reducing unnecessary glare for oncoming traffic.
Final Setup and Warranty
The completed Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 upgrade consists of NaoEvo H11 180W LEDs for the low beams and NaoEvo 9005 180W LEDs for the high beams. The upgraded setup provides a longer reach at night, with the low beams reaching over 150 metres and the high beams over 300 metres under suitable conditions.
The NaoEvo LED upgrade comes with a 2-year warranty.
