The Porsche Cayenne came into Frame Frontiers with its factory H7 halogen headlights and H11 halogen fog lights. Both were replaced with NaoEvo LED bulbs.
The headlights were upgraded to NaoEvo 180W H7 LED bulbs, while the fog lights were upgraded to NaoEvo H11 Tri-Color Fog Light Bulbs.
Factory Halogen Setup
The Cayenne was running:
- H7 Halogen for the headlights
- H11 Halogen for the fog lights
Both applications were converted to LED.
H7 Halogen to NaoEvo 180W H7 LED
The factory H7 bulbs were replaced with NaoEvo 180W H7 LED bulbs. The new LEDs provide a stronger white light than the original halogen bulbs, giving the headlights more illumination for night driving.
The installation was followed by beam alignment to make sure the light was properly directed onto the road.
H11 Halogen to NaoEvo Tri-Color Fog Lights
The factory H11 fog bulbs were replaced with NaoEvo H11 Tri-Color Fog Light Bulbs.
The Tri-Color system gives the driver a choice of light colour depending on preference and driving conditions. The fog lights also provide additional illumination closer to the vehicle, complementing the main headlights.
Installation and Beam Alignment
The bulbs were installed in their respective factory applications, followed by electrical checks and beam alignment.
Correct positioning is important with LED conversions. The aim is to keep the light where it is needed on the road while avoiding unnecessary glare for other road users.
Final Result
The Porsche Cayenne now has NaoEvo LED lighting in both the headlights and fog lights. The factory H7 and H11 halogen bulbs have been replaced with a brighter LED setup, while the Tri-Color fog lights add an additional lighting option.
