A larger screen can make a noticeable difference when gaming, working with multiple windows or editing content. At Frame Frontiers, our 34-inch curved monitor combines a 3440 × 1440 UW-QHD resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1500R curve in a widescreen display designed for both work and entertainment.
The 21:9 aspect ratio provides more horizontal screen space than a standard 16:9 display, making it easier to keep multiple applications open or see more of a game environment without constantly switching between windows.
A 34-Inch Display for Gaming and Work
The monitor uses a VA panel with a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels. This gives you more workspace than a conventional Full HD monitor, with additional detail across the screen.
The 1500R curvature follows a gentle arc across the display. Depending on your desk setup and viewing distance, this can make the wide screen more comfortable to view, particularly when sitting directly in front of it.
For work, the extra width is useful when comparing documents, managing spreadsheets or keeping reference material beside your main application. For gaming and entertainment, the widescreen format offers a broader field of view in games and supported video content.
165Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms Response Time
The 165Hz refresh rate allows the monitor to display up to 165 frames per second when supported by your computer and the content you're running. This can make movement look smoother than on a conventional 60Hz display, especially in fast-paced games.
The listed 1ms response time is intended to support quick pixel transitions. Actual motion clarity depends on the panel's response behaviour, the selected settings and the type of response-time measurement used.
The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync, which helps synchronize the display's refresh rate with a compatible graphics card to reduce screen tearing and uneven frame delivery. To get the most from these features, make sure your computer can output the required resolution and refresh rate.
